About the Firm

A trial practice built for injured people.

Attorney Richard Ryder Haag

Trial Attorney

Richard Ryder Haag

A trial lawyer who stands for the opportunity for fair trials and just compensation.

Richard Ryder Haag represents people who have been seriously injured by the negligence of others. His practice is devoted to plaintiff's personal injury work: car and truck collisions, pedestrian and bicycle injuries, premises injuries, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death. He has handled injury cases in state and federal court, taking matters from intake through discovery, depositions, and trial. Ryder has recovered verdict amounts in excess of the Defendant's insurance policy when the insurance companies have wrongfully denied timely demands. He actively tries multiple cases a year when insurance companies refuse to adequately compensate injured clients.

Ryder attended South Texas College of Law, where he served on the prestigious Mock Trial Team. During law school he interned for the Harris County District Court and then worked nearly full time at a law firm while still in school.

He built Silver Key Law around a simple idea: an injured person should be able to reach their lawyer, get straight answers, and know that their case is being prepared for trial, not parked in a settlement queue.

Before the Law

Before becoming an attorney, Ryder was a project engineer in Las Vegas, Nevada. He enjoyed challenging projects and often finished on or before schedule. He is OSHA 30 certified and regularly attends events alongside industry leaders in safety and legislation — experience that informs how he investigates the kinds of preventable failures that injure people.

Ryder is also extensively national media trained. He was the youngest National Delegate ever elected in the State of Nevada and the youngest executive committee member ever elected for his local county party. He has met with United States Presidents of both major parties and believes that bipartisanship is possible with proper communication and respect.
